With Pyrolator, Shingen Suzuki, Haco, Frank Fenstermacher and Volker Bertelman. Originally a soundscape piece composed of field recordings made at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, this production gradually transformed into a sultry collection of intimate soundscape songs.
With Japanese vocalist Haco, whose contributions were recorded at the airport, the record assumed its definite shape once members of the Ata Tak entourage started to frequent the studio sessions, leaving their footprints all over the recordings. The outcome is Plantinga's original method of wry storytelling against the background of a rich and layered musical score.
